FROM SHANGHAI
2h40m direct train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Wuyuan, then a 20 minute taxi ride at this end.
If direct trains are booked up, you can interchange at Shangrao, Huangshan Bei or Hangzhou – it adds half an hour.
Alternatively fly to Jingezhen or Huangshan and take a 70 minute taxi to us.
FROM BEIJING
Wuyuan 婺源 train station also has direct trains to Beijing (7 hours) and Huangshan (22 mins) on the new high speed network.
Jingdezhen and Huangshan Airports are around 70 minutes from our door.

TAXIS
For most guests we pre-book a taxi to meet you at Wuyuan station for 60 RMB. We know them, and they will help you with bags, problems and walk you to our front door.
Taxis congregate around Wuyuan station and can bring you here – aim for 60 RMB. They generally won’t use a meter. Agree the price before getting in the car. Ask them to drive you inside Yancun (don’t stop at the big car park outside, its a bit of a walk)
Didi also works from Wuyuan town (although you’ll struggle to call one from the villages to return to the town)

Taxis will drop you off inside the Yan Village car park (look for the large outdoor stage) and its a 100m walk from there
IN THE VILLAGE
We’re in an old village and you need to walk through narrow lanes to get to our door. Numbers/ exact GPS locations are a bit immaterial once you arrive!
Please note we are in a protected village, and you will need to buy tickets (once) when you arrive @ 55RMB.
We suggest we book a taxi to collect you from the station (60 RMB). They will bring you to our door, help with tickets, carry your bags and lead you through our village’s maze-like alleys.
If you’d like to go it yourself, taxis congregate around Wuyuan station, and you should be able to call a didi from the station or Wuyuan town.

Buy a ticket on your way into the Sixi Yancun Scenic Area. Get yourself to the car park in side Yan Village 延村 with a large outdoor stage on your right. See photo route below to get to our garden door.
